Application scenarios of peracetic acid analyzer

Application scenarios of peracetic acid analyzer

The peracetic acid analyzer is mainly used to detect and monitor the concentration of peracetic acid (a highly effective disinfectant) to ensure its effectiveness and safety in disinfection, sterilization and other scenarios.

Application scenarios of peracetic acid analyzer

Medical industry

Environmental Disinfection Monitoring in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: During drug production, strict disinfection protocols are required for facilities such as production workshops and clean rooms. Peroxyacetic acid is commonly used for surface and space disinfection. The peracetic acid analyzer continuously monitors the concentration of peracetic acid during disinfection, ensuring effective sterilization. This system guarantees compliance with hygiene standards in pharmaceutical environments and prevents microbial contamination of pharmaceutical products.

Medical Device Disinfection Testing: Peroxyacetic acid is a widely used disinfectant for medical devices such as surgical instruments, syringes, and infusion sets. The peracetic acid analyzer accurately measures the concentration of peracetic acid solution, enabling staff to assess the disinfectant's effectiveness. This ensures high-quality sterilization of medical devices and prevents cross-infection.

Food and beverage industry

Food Processing Equipment Disinfection: During food processing, equipment such as pipelines, conveyor belts, and containers requires regular disinfection. Peroxyacetic acid effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses, and fungi on equipment surfaces. A peracetic acid analyzer monitors the concentration changes during disinfection, ensuring thorough sterilization and preventing microbial growth that could contaminate food products.

Food raw materials and packaging disinfection: In the cleaning and disinfection of food raw materials such as fruits and vegetables, as well as the disinfection treatment of food packaging materials, peracetic acid analyzer can accurately detect the concentration of peracetic acid used, so that the disinfection process can not only achieve the purpose of sterilization, but also not affect the quality and safety of food due to peracetic acid residue.

Disinfection in beverage production: Peroxyacetic acid (PAA) is widely used for sterilizing both bottle components and filling equipment. By monitoring and regulating PAA concentrations through specialized analyzers during disinfection processes, manufacturers can ensure microbial safety standards are met while effectively extending product shelf life.

Lab study

Chemical analysis experiment: In chemical laboratories, peracetic acid is commonly used as a strong oxidant in various chemical reactions and analytical experiments. The peracetic acid analyzer helps experimenters accurately measure the concentration of peracetic acid, providing precise data support for experiments and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of experimental results.

Microbial experiments: In microbial culture and research, strict disinfection of the experimental environment and equipment is required. Peroxyacetic acid analyzer can be used to monitor the concentration of peracetic acid in the disinfection process, ensure the disinfection effect, and create sterile environmental conditions for microbial experiments.

Water treatment

In wastewater treatment, peracetic acid is utilized for disinfection and oxidation processes. It effectively removes organic matter, ammonia nitrogen, and other pollutants while eliminating pathogens in sewage. The peracetic acid analyzer enables real-time monitoring of peracetic acid levels, allowing operators to adjust dosages based on water quality conditions. This optimization enhances treatment efficiency and ensures effluent meets regulatory standards.

Bebur BT6308-Pera Peroxyacetic Acid Analyzer

The Bebur BT6308-Pera Peroxyacetic Acid Analyzer employs a membrane sensor, eliminating the need for reagents or buffers. Its stable measurements and reliable performance significantly reduce maintenance requirements and operational costs for users.

Operational principle

Electrochemical (Membrane Amperometric Method) Principle. The Bebur BT6308-Pera Peroxyacetic Acid Analyzer features a membrane-coated amperometric dual-electrode system. The working electrode, enclosed by a membrane, is positioned in the electrolyte zone alongside the reference electrode. This zone contains a specialized electrolyte separated from the water sample. During testing, peroxyacetic acid diffuses from the water sample through the membrane, generating an electrical signal at the working electrode via electrolyte assistance. The signal at the working electrode is directly proportional to the peroxyacetic acid concentration and is amplified by the sensor's circuitry. With integrated temperature compensation, the measurement signal remains unaffected by the water sample's temperature.
