    BT6308 Total  Chlorine Analyser(HCLO,CLO-_and Combined Chlorine)The BT6308-CL range of Residual Chlorine Analysers, Residual Chlorine Controllers and Residual Chlorine Monitors utilise the very latest and best chlorine sensors available in the world today. They are membrane devices which are insensitive to changing pH, use no reagents, are extremely stable, and have reduced maintenance and reduced whole life costs.

     

    ►Typical Applications:

    • For residual chlorine disinfection monitoring in the industries 
    • such as drinking water, wastewater, industrial process water and purified water .
    • Online analysis of residual chlorine disinfection in municipal tap water
    • control of refilling chlorine for secondary pressurized water supply in pipe network
    • Disinfectant control of circulating cooling water
    • control of adding chlorine for disinfection of water in food and beverage factories

     

    ►Performance Features:

    • Membrane-type amperometry principle sensor

    • Reagents and buffers are not required
    • Unaffected by detergent in water

    ►Working Principle:

    The sensor could be used for measuring the samples based on the membrane-type amperometry principle. The microporous hydrophilic membrane on the sensor could allow residual chlorine(HClO and CLO-)or total chlorine(HCLO, CLO- and combined chlorine) to enter the sensor. Within the sensor, the process converts most of the CLO- to HCLO, which is consumed at the gold working electrode to obtain a value of mg/L or ppm.
