Bebur Streaming Current Detector(SCM520) is an instrument for online monitoring of the coagulation effect after alum addition. It is the main component of the current tap water/sewage coagulant precipitant automatic dosing system. Bebur's streaming current detector can be used for the coagulation dosing control process of water plants and the automatic control process of sludge sedimentation, dehydration, pressure filtration, etc. in sewage treatment. It can measure and control water samples after chemical treatment. The charged ions or colloidal particles in the water sample will generate a current between the two electrodes in the sampling chamber of the SCD instrument. The magnitude of the current depends on the net residual amount of positive (or negative) ions remaining in the water after coagulation. Therefore, the steam current value can indirectly reflect the coagulation effect.

►Working Principle:
Upon the water sample flows into the sampling bank, when the piston moves upward,the water sample is brought into the hole,When the piston moves downward, the sample water is discharged from hole. Particles in water are temporarily attached to the surfaces of the piston and the cylinder block. As the water is pushed back forward by the piston, the positive and negative electrons around these particulate matter omove downward to the electrodes, and the detected signals are amplified and eventually converted to the SCV display value. Such current is called"Streaming Current"which is caused by the flow of electric current.
