MSF8000⑧series electromagnetic flowmeter is composed of sensor and converter,which is used to measure the volume flow  of conductive liquid with conductivity≥2.5uS/cm.It  is an  induction  instrument  for measuring  the  volume  flow  of conductive medium and is widely used for flow measurement in the industrial and municipal management departments such as petroleum,chemical industry,gold,textile,paper-making, environmental  protection  and  food,and  the  fields  such   as water conservancy  construction,and  river  dredging.

     Features

    ◆ The  measurement  is  not  affected  by  the  change  of  fluid density,viscosity,temperature,pressure and conductivity.

    ◆There    are    no    flow    blocking    components    inside    the measuring  tube  of the  pipeline  electromagnetic  flowmeter.No pressure  loss  and  low  straight  pipe  section  requirements.and is self-adaptive when measuring slurry.

    ◆Reasonable  selection  of  electrodes  and  lining  materials,that is,the   materials   with   good   corrosion   and   wear   resistance properties.

    ◆ All    digital   processing,strong    anti-interference    ability, reliable     measurement,high      precision     and      wide     flow measurement  range.

    ◆Ultralow-EMI  power  supply,which  boasts  a  wide  range  of voltage and good anti-EMI performance.

    ◆With ARM Cortex -M332-bit processor and 24-bit ADC data acquisition  system,this  product  has  fast  operation  speed,high precision,low-frequency    rectangular    wave     excitation    and programmable  excitation  frequency(so  flow  measurement  is stable)and  low  power  consumption.

    ◆With      SMD      devices      and      surface     mounting(SMT) technology,the  circuit  is  highly  reliable.

    ◆ The measuring range can be modified online according to the actual needs of the user.

    ◆  High-definition    backlight     LED    display,Chinese     and English menus,easy to  operate,easy  to  learn  and  understand.

    ◆RS485,RS232,HART           and           MODBUS           digital communication   signal   output(optional).

    ◆Self-test  and  self-diagnosis  function.

    ◆Hourly total recording function,record the   total    flow volume  in  hour,applicable  to  time-sharing  metering  system (optional).

     There are three internal calculators to display the forward accumulation,  reverse accumulation and difference accumulation,and the internal power-down clock is equipped to record 16 power-down times(optional)

    ◆Infrared handheld actuator,115KHZ communication rate,remote non-contact operation of all functions of the converter(optional).

     

    Working Principle

    The  electromagnetic  flowmeter  functions  based  on Faraday   law    of   electromagnetic    induction,which states that a conductor moving in a magnetic field will generate induced voltage.Liquid can be regarded  as conductor,and the magnetic field is generated by the energized  coil  outside  the  flow  pipe.The  induced voltage  amplitude  is  directly  proportional  to  the velocity of motion of the  conductor and the type of conductor,the diameter of the pipe,and the strength of the magnetic field,which is given by:

    E=B-V-D-K

    E-Induced   potential;

    B-Magnetic  induction  intensity;

    V-Velocity of movement of the conducting fluid;

    D-Electrode spacing;(measure the tube diameter)

    K-Coefficient  related  to  magnetic  field  distribution and axiallength (instrument coefficient);

    B,D,and K can  either be  fixed  or calibrated,so that the equation is simplified as EoV.

    The sensor transmits the induced potential E as a flow signal to the converter.Upon signal processing such as amplification,transformation,and                filtering,the instantaneous    flow    and    accumulated    flow    are displayed  by  a  dot-matrix  LCD  with  backlight.The converter   has    4-20mA   output,alarm    output   and frequency  output,and  is  equipped  with  RS485  and other   communication    interfaces,with   HART   and MODBUS        protocols         supported.
