►System working principle
As the core detection component of the coagulation intelligent dosing control system, the flow current meter can detect the sample water charge value in the raw water mixing basin. It can calculate and output the proportional control signal of coagulant dosage and the real-time charge value signal of output raw water via the PID module.
As the coagulant dosing component in the coagulation intelligent dosing control system, the two diaphragm metering pumps are standby for each other, which can improve the stability of the system.
When the PLC in the coagulation intelligent dosing control system receives the dosing proportion control signal output by the flow current meter, it will immediately control the output of the VFD to drive the diaphragm metering pump to dose the coagulant in order to achieve the purpose of controlling the dosing and improving the coagulation effect. It constitutes a complete closed loop of current detection by flow current meter - dosing by dosing pump - changing the coagulation effect of raw water - changing the charge value in water.

►Working principle of flow current meter
Flow current meter is composed of a flow current meter sensor and a controller. The piston of the flow current sensor reciprocates up and down inside the ring electrode. When the water sample added with coagulant passes through the flow current meter sensor, the water in the electrode ring space also makes corresponding movement, colloidal particles double electric layer is disturbed, the water will carry the counter-ions in the colloid diffusion layer to move together, thus forming the flow of current, which is collected by the electrodes at both ends, amplified by a signal amplifier and rectified into a DC signal output. When the concentration of colloidal particles in water changes, the detection value collected by the flow current meter will also change accordingly. In this way, it can provide a real-time and reliable detection basis for the coagulation effect of raw water.
Upon the flow current meter controller reading the flow current value detected by the sensor(After the flowing current meter controller reads the flowing current value detected by the sensor), it will convert the flow current value and display the detection value intuitively. The controller is equipped with PID control function. Upon comparing and calculating the flow current value with the set reference value, a 4-20mA signal will be output for adjusting the opening of the metering pump or dosing valve.
The flow current meter can be equipped with self-cleaning function, and the flow current sensor can be cleaned on a regular basis according to the set cleaning time, which can improve the adaptability of the flow current meter to poor water quality conditions.
The optimal dosage of coagulant can be determined by detecting SCV response value of raw water with flow current meter, in order to reduce dosage consumption and cost on the basis of ensuring and improving water quality, and then improve economic and social benefits of the enterprise.
