System working principle
As the detection unit of the disinfection dosing control system,the free chlorine water quality analyzer can detect the free chlorine value of the sample water in the disinfection basin and output the real-time free chlorine value signal of the sample water.It can also calculate and output the proportion control signal of the dosing amount of disinfectant via the selected PID function,which increases the accuracy and efficiency of the system dosing.
As a disinfectant dosing unit in the disinfection dosing control system,the metering pump can be combined with multiple units to improve the stability of the system.
The control unit in the disinfection dosing control system receives the free chlorine value data signal output by the free chlorine water quality analyzer,and outputs a proportional control signal to the metering pump upon the PID calculation,in order to adjust the disinfectant dosing,achieve the purpose of adjusting and controlling the dosing amount and improving the disinfection effect,and form a complete closed cycle of the free chlorine value detection in water-dosing of dosing pump-changing the disinfection effect of sample water-changing the free chlorine value in water by the free chlorine analyzer.The control unit also receives the sample water flow signal and dose based on the flow ratio to ensure the system stability.
The disinfection dosing control system is provided with multi-level protection,and can inform the user of the real-time status of the system via signal output.

Working Principle of free chlorine analyzer
Based on the principle of membrane amperometry, the free chlorine water quality analyzer can quickly analyzer the concentration of dissolved free chlorine in water on site.
Free chlorine(HCLO and CLO-) in water enters the sensor via the hydrophobic membrane of the free chlorine sensor, and the pH value of the internal free chlorine electrolyte is about 6.In such environment, the entered hypochlorite ion(CLO-) will be converted into hypochlorous acid (HCLO)and diffused and moved to the working electrode to be consumed. The electrode generates a current signal corresponding to the differential pressure of dissolving free chlorine, which is amplified by a signal amplifier and rectified into a DC signal output.
Upon reading the current signal detected by the sensor, the controller of the free chlorine analyzer will convert the signal value and display the detection value intuitively .When the free chlorine concentration is measured. The smaple water temperature is measured too. And the output signal of the sensor is compensated by an electronic device, so that the measured value can be corrected with the change of temperature.
Under the dual action of sensor design structure and electrolyte,the free chlorine sensor is not affected by the PH value of the water in operating.
When the concentration of free chlorine in water changes, the detection value collected by the free chlorine analyzer will also change. In such way, real-time and reliable detection basis can be provided for the disinfection effect of sample water.
