A Streaming Current Detector (SCD) is an instrument that monitors the surface charge characteristics of colloidal particles in water, reflecting the coagulation effect through measured current values. In water treatment plants, it is primarily used to optimize coagulant dosing processes, thereby enhancing the efficiency and stability of water treatment.

Here are the specific application scenarios and advantages:

1. Real-time monitoring of coagulation effect

The principle is that the flow current meter indirectly reflects the effectiveness of coagulant (such as aluminum salt, iron salt, etc.) by detecting the charge characteristics (Zeta potential) of colloidal particles in water.
