· Working principle: Ammonia ion selective electrodes are usually used to directly detect ammonium ions（NH4+） in the water environment, and pH electrodes are used as reference electrodes. The ammonia ion selective membrane has selective permeability to ammonium ions （NH4+）. When the electrode contacts the water sample, only ammonium ions（NH4+） can migrate through the ion selective membrane and undergo charge changes, generating a potential on the working electrode, which is proportional to the ammonium ion（NH4+）concentration. The transmitter measures the potential difference between the working electrode and the reference electrode based on the Nernst equation and converts it into ammonia nitrogen concentration. In addition, since potassium ions will interfere with the measurement, the instrument generally uses potassium ion compensation, and also dynamically compensates the temperature, pH, etc. of the water sample to improve the measurement accuracy.

The working temperature is generally between 0 and 40℃, and the protection level can reach IP68.
