Municipal tap water and secondary water supply (such as community water tanks and high-rise water storage tanks) need to be disinfected by adding chlorine (such as liquid chlorine, sodium hypochlorite), and the total chlorine concentration needs to be maintained at 0.05~4mg/L (national standard requirements) to inhibit the growth of microorganisms while avoiding excessive residual chlorine affecting water quality.
Application scenarios:
· Online monitoring of water out of the water plant, midway and terminal of the pipeline network, real-time feedback of residual chlorine concentration, and linkage of chlorination equipment to automatically adjust the dosage (such as when the total chlorine is lower than 0.05mg/L, the chlorination pump starts to add).
·Install an analyzer at the outlet of the secondary water supply tank to prevent a sudden drop in total chlorine due to water tank pollution and ensure the safety of residents' water use.
Advantages:
Compared with traditional manual sampling and testing (taking more than 30 minutes) the current analyzer can output data every few seconds to timely warn of water quality fluctuations.
